Abiah Grows in 2005
Abiah worked with many different companies in 2005, including startup businesses and Franchise 500 organizations. Abiah’s creative team was able to extend its grasp on the market by servicing its clients in all forms of branding, marketing and advertising.
One of Abiah’ first clients, Surfing Artists International (SAI), had its brand become globally recognized in 2005. SAI’s catalog (one of many pieces created by Abiah) showcased the product and the creativity that the company offered. After world known print distributor Bruce McGaw came in contact with the catalog, they felt it was worthy of being distributed along with McGaw’s to over 60 countries and 10,000 accounts. Later in the year, Abiah received three international Daveys Awards for their work done on SAI.
Therapeutic Touch, a massage therapy center located inside a fitness gym, was a company also branded by Abiah in 2005. The branding and marketing of the company was quite successful, creating a 420% increase in sales during the holiday season from the previous year.
In September, Abiah moved into its new office in Linwood, NJ. Located in Central Park East, a business community, the company is thriving and has been able to reach out to more businesses through stronger marketing techniques.
Internally, Abiah grew as a company as well. In August, Jason Koestenblatt came on as a brand strategist and professional writer, responsible for creating a written voice for each client and their marketing materials. Ryan Burns was brought aboard in November as a web designer and developer. Ryan has injected much knowledge and insight into the company’s own website as well as for Abiah’s clients.
Abiah is looking forward to the new year. The company hopes to further expand its creative team as well as its client base. Guy Richards will continue to forge his company ahead and keep working by the guideline, “design without purpose in a commercial environment is meaningless.”
