Local Brand Consultancy Wins International Contest
Linwood’s Abiah, designs a sales kit that gets clients and wins award
LINWOOD, New Jersey – November 6, 2007 – Abiah, Linwood’s brand strategy and design consultancy, has been named a silver winner in the 2007 International Davey Awards in the Print and Collateral category.
In its third year, the competition received over 4000 entries in seven mediums ranging from print to video to integrated campaigns.
When Larry Stiteler, president of East Coast Roofing & Siding decided he needed a more effective sales kit he called on Abiah to create it. The Abiah team implemented a unique strategy in redesigning the existing kit: Create a sales tool with that magical “sticky factor,” that would present sales material packaged in such a useful way prospects would find it difficult to throw it out.
Abiah realized they had created a powerful tool when East Coast reported that, within 3 months of using the new kit, the Mays Landing company achieved its most productive sales month in its 28-year history.
In 2005 Abiah won three silver Davey in the Print / Collateral category for work done for Surfing Artists International of Ocean City.
The Davey Awards recognizes small creative firms and are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current members include: Yahoo!, Myspace.com, Bath & Body Works, and many others.
