Industry Setting – CBA (Christian Bookseller’s Association) is the association that connects an international group of Christian retailers with knowledge, support and suppliers. CBA is well known for their yearly ICRS (International Christian Retail Show) conference.

Challenge – Brick-and-mortar Christian retailers have been steadily declining. This is because of two main reasons; a growing trend in online purchases that they haven’t been able to compete with and large retailers being able to sell Christian books less expensive because of their buying power.

Strategy – Identify opportunities for innovation that would give CBA’s retailer a clear plan to make a move before the wave of, lack-of-innovation sweeps them up. Reposition the long addressed visual representation of CBA to communicate they are working to transition their retailers to be effective in the new market shift.

Result – We were able to use a smaller budget and touch four times as many retailers by recrafting CBA’s delivery strategy and marketing collateral for their ICRS show.
